Republican Candidate for East Pennsboro Township Commissioner
I am running for Re-Election to the East Pennsboro Township Board of Commissioners because I have been so blessed living here and thoroughly love giving back and serving to make it great for all current and future Residents. My wife Lori and I have lived here for nearly 40 years and have seen all the changes and growth over those years.
After our daughter graduated from EPASD I decided to throw my hat in the ring for School Director in 2009. I served in that capacity for 3 years as Vice President and thoroughly enjoyed it, prior to getting appointed to an open Board of Commissioner position in 2013.
I have served in many roles since being on the BOC to include, Police and Fire Commissioner, Facilities and Highway, Chairman of the Township Stormwater Authority, and currently serve as Board President. Serving on the Cumberland County Planning Commission and Cumberland County Industrial Development Authority are two other positions that I currently hold.
Aging infrastructure, Planning, and managing growth are some of the challenges we face in the township that I enjoy and want to tackle in a way that will benefit the community now and long into the future.
The Pedestrian Bridge connecting both sides of Adams Ricci Park over East Penn Drive that we anticipate to be completed in 2024 will be a huge addition for everyone’s enjoyment at the Park. The widening of the Erford road bridge crossing the Bypass was a project that I spearheaded and was successful in convincing PennDOT to not only replace the bridge deck, but to also widen it, is one of the projects I count as another great success.
Stepping up and Challenging PennDOT again over the Bridge Tolling initiative and getting that overturned is another success that benefits the township and the Region as a whole. I have always been someone interested in stepping up to a challenge and giving it all.
With the support of the Residents of East Pennsboro I look forward serving for another term as Commissioner.
